Jessi is one of the world's hottest junior surfers. She started surfing at the age of 12 and competed in her first event at 14, in which she finished second. She has been competing for the past three years and in this time has further developed her surfing talent.
In 2002, Jessi won the NSW school titles and finished overall second on the prestigious Australian ASP Junior Circuit. Jessi also dominated the Rusty Gromfest to win the 'Under 16' division. In 2003, Jessi finished the Australian junior ratings in third place, and won the Billabong Pro Junior at Bells Beach.
Meanwhile, in August 2003 Jessi confirmed her surfing talent by winning the U/18 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Durban, South Africa. In February 2005, Jessi won the five star World Qualifying series in Peru.

Jessi's life is full. She finished her HSC in 2003, finishing in the top 5% of students. She has a monthly column in "Chik" magazine, where she comments on contest and surfing trips.
